Our service sees children aged 0-19 in Sheffield who have Down’s syndrome.
We provide high-quality management of the medical and developmental issues experienced by children and young people with Down’s syndrome
Children are seen by a paediatrician to assess medical issues and then by a physiotherapist, occupational therapist and speech and language therapist to provide assessment, advice and support.
We participate in research studies specific to Down’s syndrome – please ask us about it when you attend clinic.

Our pre-school age clinic is held at the Ryegate Children’s Centre.
School-age children may attend medical clinics at the Ryegate Centre, community clinics or school clinics.
Therapy is provided in schools depending on the child’s individual needs.
